Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina has launched a series of themed events at Barasti’s lower deck, Barasti Beach. Barasti is one of Dubai's perennially popular meeting places and this bar serves as a beach lounge and evening entertainment venue, in an exotic atmosphere set by the sea. Tuesday: The Moonlight Acid Jazz nights are sophisticated evenings featuring traditional and contemporary jazz, and brought to life through jamming sessions with a guest saxophonist and the resident DJ Martin Metcalf.Wednesday: The Latino Fiesta nights promise a beachside extravaganza of Latin-inspired fun and frolic, with free salsa lessons and a percussionist performing on site. A selection of tapas, nachos and dips will further enhance the festive atmosphere.Thursday:  The unusually named Jellyfish Funk nights are dedicated to music from the last three decades including funk, disco, rock and roll and commercial dance, with special lighting and décor evoking a retro ambience.Friday:  Lollipop City is a club experience recreated on the beach.
